The French film ‘Valley of Love’ starring Isabelle Huppert and Gérard Depardieu has been nominated for this year’s Palme d’Or. It recounts the story of the 2 characters that travel to the desolate landscapes of Death Valley.

In light of this film, we have used the relationship between landscape, character and story as the source of inspiration in selecting works available from the Hornshaw Gallery:

Tom Cringle ‘Early Morning Frost and Low Sun’ - £650.00

Andrew Farmer ‘Waves’ - £450.00

Joanne Coates ‘Liznojan (1)’ - £145.00

Barry Andrews ‘Crashing to the Shore’ - £120.00
