At The Hornshaw Gallery, we aim to share with you interesting contemporary artworks and tips on investing in new art. Since many of our artists are emerging into the professional art world, we can help you invest at the perfect time!

Let us introduce you to Andrew Farmer. Under the strong influence of Euston Road Painters and the late great British artist, Ewan Uglow, Andrew trained and graduated with first class honours from Canterbury Christ Church University. His biggest influence is nature which is prevalent through many of his wonderful artworks.

"My recent work is focused heavily on observation painting, from landscapes, still life and portraits.

My paintings are built up in a number of ways: usually it depends on the subject matter. Many comment on the different styles and techniques apparent in my portfolio. I try not to be too conscious of style and technique, instead I allow each image to take on a life of its own."

Since becoming a professional artist, Andrew's paintings have greatly increased - now's a better time than ever to snap up one of his pieces. See below a few from his collection here at The Hornshaw Gallery or view all of his work here
